The girls and I decided to try making something new each week this summer. We have things on our list like Chicken n'Dumplings, Banana Cream Pie, Quiche... etc.
Here is our attempt at Red Velvet Cake. It was fun to make and tasted great!
BTW, this is Heather. I just had to say...NUTS on a red velvet cake?!?! Sacrilege. Honey, we need to talk. Nuts are verboten. I'm fanning myself right now. Juuuust kidding. Those cake crumbs sure are fun to wipe up after the kids go to town on a piece of red cake. In our family, every kid gets red velvet cake for their 1st birthday. We're due for one this coming November for Juliet!
