I don't think I have posted much about my beautiful twin nieces. Twins!! Oh, what fun we have!! Here are few photos we took while touring the Hotel Del at Christmas time.

Rachel and her babies....

Christmas at the Cahill's

I think this was our best Christmas yet! So much fun. The kids were so happy. And, we were able to share it with so many loved ones! The only sad part was to see it all end....

Sunset Cliffs

We are on Thanksgiving break and had a quiet day yesterday. I decided to take the kids to the cliffs and watch the waves. I also got some pretty great photos.

Pumpkin Carving

ARRGH! I am already a bit behind on my new commitment to blog. Oh well, if you had been following me around the past few weeks, you would TOTALLY understand. I know everyone is busy, and I am not trying to float my "busy boat," but here a few things that happened the past few weeks:

1. Practiced and preformed our Primary Sacrament Program. If you have never been Primary President, you can't fully appreciate the feeling of having this little ditty checked off the "to-do" list!

2. Halloween. Halloween class parties, Halloween Carnival, Halloween cake contest, Halloween concert, and oh yeah, trick-or-treating. When did Halloween turn in to a week long celebration?

3. Todd's Birthday. Happy Birthday sweetheart.

4. I threw a baby shower for my sweet friend Leann.

5. Sick. I've been super sick. Lost my voice and everything. Yuck.

Ok, here are the pumpkin carving photos I told you about....

Stay tuned of costume photos. Sure to up by Christmas. :)

Hmmm...

It's been a really long time. I'm not sure that I know why I stopped blogging. Well, I didn't stop blogging really. And, I guess I do know why... I mean, I know why I stopped blogging HERE. I found this blog to be a bit unsatisfying. It felt like a journal, but knowing that it was open to anyone wanting to view it made me uncomfortable. I couldn't really SAY the things I wanted to say. I mean, what would people think? My thoughts can be a little wacky. So, what did I do, you ask? I went "underground." I started a new blog. A closed blog. An "invitation only" blog. And, here's the kicker, it has ONE invited reader: me. That blog has been very therapeutic. So many of my happy times, sad times, insecure times, and joyful times have been recorded on that blog this past year.

Now, I find myself missing this blog. And, I think I'm ready to give this kind of blogging another go. So for starters, here are my children and my nieces dressed in Disney costumes. We have two Minnie's, a Mickey (sans ears), Snow White, and Cinderella for your viewing pleasure. Let it be known however, that Courtney and Beckett did this AGAINST their will. He prefers to be Darth Vadar (stay tuned), and she prefers to be cool. And we all know, dressing up like Minnie Mouse... not cool. However, I think she just made it look very cool, don't you?

Courtney is a Young Woman!!

I decided a LONG time ago that when my children turned twelve, I would take them on a little trip. Alone. Just Mom, Dad, and our twelve-year-old child. Well my friends, time moves faster than you think, and the day came (way before I was ready) that I had an actual twelve year old child.

So, last week, Courtney, Todd, and I headed to my favorite city on the planet - San Francisco.

Todd had to work most of the time we were there, and we missed him - sorta. But, the city, it was ours. Just Courtney and I. We shopped, rode the cable cars, took a bay cruise, ate some delicious food, and even had a "spa night" in our hotel room. We made memories to last a lifetime.
